At Gracie Barra Centennial, we know that discipline is the foundation of progress in Jiu-Jitsu and beyond. Whether it’s drilling escapes, improving control, or building mental resilience, consistent effort leads to mastery.

This week, our students will focus on:
🔥 Foot throw setups & escaping mount sequences in our 30-minute BJJ Focus Sessions
🔥 Tuesday at 6 PM – Women’s Self-Defense Class: Learn to defend against neck grabs and transition to ground control
🔥 Word of the Week: Discipline – The key to success on and off the mats

🗣 Word of the Week: Discipline

Discipline is at the core of every Jiu-Jitsu journey. It means showing up, pushing past challenges, and striving to improve—even when it’s tough.

✅ Consistent training builds skills that last a lifetime
✅ Practicing with focus and intent leads to faster progress
✅ Overcoming struggles on the mat strengthens mental resilience in life

This week, let’s embrace discipline in our training, trust the process, and commit to getting 1% better every day!
