Week 2 at Gracie Barra Centennial — The Power of Discipline
Word of the Week: Discipline
At Gracie Barra Centennial, we believe discipline is the foundation of progress. It’s what keeps us showing up, improving, and reaching our goals — even when it’s challenging. Discipline means staying committed to the process, respecting your training partners, and trusting that consistent effort will bring lasting results.
Key Value: The Power of Discipline
In Jiu-Jitsu, discipline shows up in many ways — from tying your belt neatly, to bowing before stepping on the mat, to drilling a move until it becomes second nature. It teaches patience, builds self-control, and transforms effort into confidence. Every student, from our Tiny Champs to our advanced adults, learns that discipline is the bridge between where you are now and where you want to be.
