Gracie Barra Week 14 Headlocks and Sidemount

This week at Gracie Barra Centennial Jiu-Jitsu we are defending headlocks in our fundamentals class. These classic situations can occur during a confrontation. Know how to protect yourself. In the sport jiu-jitsu portion of the class we are escaping sidemount and working half-guard sweeps. We are also working guard retention, a staple in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

In the advanced classes we learn judo hand and hip throws. In addition, come learn side control sweeps and submissions.
