This past weekend was one to remember for Gracie Barra Centennial as our team delivered an outstanding performance at CompNet Colorado, earning a 2nd Place Overall Team finish.
With only 32 competitors representing our school, our students demonstrated incredible determination, skill, and heart, bringing home an impressive collection of medals:
- 11 Gold Medals
- 10 Silver Medals
- 5 Bronze Medals
While we are proud of the medals and team trophy, what stands out most is the character our students displayed throughout the event. Competition is about much more than standing on the podium. It is about stepping outside your comfort zone, facing challenges head-on, and putting your training to the test.
Every competitor who stepped onto the mats represented Gracie Barra Centennial with courage, discipline, respect, and perseverance. Whether they won or lost, each match provided valuable lessons and opportunities for growth that will help them continue to improve both on and off the mats.
The success of our team is also a reflection of the incredible support system behind every athlete. We want to thank our coaches, teammates, friends, and family members who cheered, encouraged, and supported our competitors throughout the tournament. Your energy and commitment help make achievements like this possible.
One of the most rewarding aspects of competition is seeing our community come together. From first-time competitors to experienced athletes, everyone played a role in helping Gracie Barra Centennial achieve this result. The teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive attitude displayed throughout the weekend truly represent what our school is all about.
Congratulations to every member of Team GB Centennial. Earning 2nd Place Overall with just 32 competitors is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the hard work taking place on our mats every day.
We are proud of what we achieved together, and we are excited to continue growing, learning, and pursuing new goals as a team.
Oss!
